Dubai: The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that private sector employees across the UAE will receive a paid holiday from Sunday, 30 March to Tuesday, 1 April 2025 in celebration of Eid Al Fitr.
If Ramadan concludes on its 30th day, the holiday will be extended to Wednesday, 2 April 2025. The announcement was made via the ministry’s official social media handle and reported by Gulf News on 19 March 2025 at 06:29.
This decision provides an opportunity for employees to observe the festive period and spend quality time with their families. The updated Ramadan 2025 prayer timetable for the UAE has also been released.
